saturday the 'rents & i headed into downtown richmond for the CANAL artswalk on the james. we anticipated seeing plenty of local artists displaying their wares but were surprised by the lack of turnout. still, we heard live music & walked the 3 1/4 mile canal loop, learning more about the historical foundations for it.
