random sass & musing™

quips + wits + sarcasm + sageness = random sass & musing™

for the life of me, i'll never understand how stupid people maintain jobs or even how they get jobs on the first place. add lazy to the equation & there's a new breed of stupidity.

while i can admit to occasional fits of laziness, i tell myself (perhaps justifying it to myself?) that it's a reward for hard work & attentiveness to things that are main requirements. because i work 8+ hours a day putting up with ridiculous demands of people who assume ally mcbeal was the quintessential & accurate epitome of law. might i remind them that ally mcb-b also boasted a large part of fantasy & sarcastiwit. nothing tops the fish, but i digress. point being that at the end of a day full of dealing with idiots, i crave the opportunity to veg out on my sofa while pointing & laughing at the stupidity of people that live in that little TV screen. that's lazy but not in the stupidity section. yet.

in other news, my mommy has surgery tomorrow. i'm sure hysterectomies have come a long way from back in the day, but prayers for her safe travel through surgery (although, i'm pretty sure it's not a drive-through surgeon) are coveted. let's hope the surgeon's not an example of my aforementioned stupidheads.
