just when you think you've seen it all, they have CARDS FOR YOUR ILLICIT LOVER with such sayings as

“All my life I have had this emptiness inside, like a part of me was missing and I was incomplete ...

“And now I can’t imagine my life without you ... Even if I have to share you.”

durrrrrrrrrrrrrr?

it's rather interesting that the creator of the cards states that by creating these cards she's not endorsing the lifestyle.

Gallagher says she doesn’t talk about the social implications: “I’m neither a crusader nor an advocate for this lifestyle. I’m a businesswoman.” As for her critics, she says, “People are entitled to their opinions.”

people are entitled to their opinions, this is true. but it's interesting to consider the implications of creating a specialized card line which is targeted at the indiscrete husband or wife in an effort to allow them to express their intentions to their beloved, or rather one of their beloveds.

it certainly comes down to the chicken & the egg argument. does the creation of such an object endorse extramarital affairs by providing a specified outlet for them to share their affections with their not-spouse rather than their spouse? i imagine most would argue it's simply business. but how does that fly when cigarette makers claim the same thing? even alcoholic beverage manufacturers fight a similar argument, although i believe most of america finds alcohol more acceptable than tobacco.

welcome to america. heh.
